Angelika loves movement, both physically and in her thoughts. When she paints, this energy flows through her brushstrokes and her body. Here subjects are about the world within us and around us. Her paintings makes the ordinairy poetic.

For Angelika everything can change, shift, or arise anew, and this dynamic is reflected in her paintings. Layer upon layer meets, disappears, and reappears, like an echo of the constant movement of life. Her driving force is the freedom to explore, reflect, and make the intangible visible or vice versa.

Angelika also loves creating paintings where recognition meets estrangement. Her art is not about fixed interpretations but about opening doors to multiple possibilities, like the layers in life which she experienced herself already in her childhood and younger life.
