Angelika’s practice is rooted in the idea that nothing ever needs to remain the same. She embraces variety in form, material, and artistic discipline, ensuring her work remains dynamic and engaging.
Whether working in sculpture, painting or mixed media, she sees each medium as an opportunity to challenge assumptions and open new ways of seeing.
In her paintings and sculptures, layers of
material mirror the layers of life: moments that appear, fade and return in a new light. Angelika’s work invites you to slow down, look closer, and find beauty in the unexpected. The ordinary can become poetic through colour, texture and form. The unexpected can also lies in her subjects that affects our world.
She loves movement, both physically and in her thoughts. When she paints, this energy flows through her brushstrokes and her body.
Angelika completed her Propedeuse in drawing at the Art School in Tilburg at the age of 21. In 2016, She successfully graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgium.
